Chosen by Carnegie Hall Music Exchange to visit South Africa and Perform at CMDA Route 40 Music Festival

It was an honor to be selected by the Carnegie Hall Music Exchange as one of six US students to receive mentoring and collaborate with other young songwriters in South Africa. The project, sponsored by Carnegie Hall, the Rock School Scholarship Fund, and Casterbridge Music Development Academy, will culminate in a trip to South Africa with my five peers to do musical workshops, experience the culture, and perform our original songs at the Casterbridge Music Development Academy Route 40 Music Festival, opening for some of South Africa’s biggest rock bands.

I am looking forward to meeting many new friends and fans in South Africa on December 6 – 8 in White River, Mpumalanga!
